Maggie has been a head coach for Needham Youth Track Club since '17, she was the sprints and jumps coach at Newton South HS for two years, and the distance coach at Emmanuel College for two years. At EC her women’s team was conference champions, and every one of her athletes achieved PR’s during their ’19-’20 season. Maggie currently is an assistant coach at Babson College.
Maggie ran D1 at The College of the Holy Cross, class of ’10. She completed the HBX CORe program through Harvard Business School and has an MS in Sports Administration from Boston College. She competes for Greater Boston Track Club, where she spent three years on their board of directors and is currently the Race Director for their annual GBTC XC Invite. Maggie has also been on the USATF New England board of directors since ’16 and currently holds the position of Vice President.
Maggie’s coaching career took off after becoming a staff coach at the Northeast Kingdom Running Camp in VT in ’15. It is was then that she began adding coaching jobs in an effort to experience and share the “camp glow” throughout the rest of the year.
Whether it’s been for middle school, high school, college, or club she has thoroughly enjoyed being able to shape her athletes’ lifelong love of the sport and help them to achieve their goals. She hopes to keep improving her own times while continuing to train with her Alaskan Malamute Molly.
